What a great week we had with the Whitaker-Taylor team at SuccessConnect 2016 in Viva Las Vegas! It happened in Vegas, but we're definitely not leaving what we learned there.
We are seeing more and more companies switch their talent management functionality from their SAP On-Premise system to SuccessFactors. However, at the same time, we are not seeing a big move to Employee Central. Thus, most companies are going with a hybrid approach to their HCM landscape. Core HCM functionality (such as personnel administration, organizational management, payroll, benefits, etc.) remains on-premise, whereas, their talent management suite (performance management, compensation management, learning management, etc.) is going to the cloud. This creates a situation where data must be exchanged to keep both systems in sync.
SAP Fiori is a relative newcomer in the SAP solution space. Fiori (Italian for flower) is the result of a partnership between SAP and Google to design a "simplified user experience" for frequently used applications. Using Fiori your company can provide more user-friendly HR processes for employees, which gives you another tool for attracting and retaining talent.

This process can be tedious and time consuming, especially if you are a large organization.

Consider these four ways to maximize your current SAP HCM On-Premise investment in route to the cloud.
Implementing, managing, and maintaining a human resources information system (HRIS) is a complex undertaking. The technology touches every person in your organization, and will profoundly affect the way your organization operates. Having the right consulting partner can make the difference between a system that helps your business succeed and a transaction tool nobody wants to use.
The choice of an SAP implementation partner is at least as important as which software you choose. You need a human capital management platform that fits your business requirements. You also need a partner who will take the time to understand the unique way you do business.
